The inaugural Supper Club will be held on Friday 3rd March 2017 at Hermitage Village Hall, Pinewood Crescent, Hermitage, Thatcham, RG18 9WL. It will begin at 7.30pm. The cost is £17.50 per person including a two course supper and drinks. The speaker will be Kit Malthouse who is the MP for North West Hampshire.
The Supper Club is designed for Members and Supporters who are interested in the contemporary political scheme and would like to discuss politics with interesting and informed speakers.
After a grounding in local government, Kit was elected to the London Assembly. Boris Johnson appointed him to be Deputy Mayor of London with responsibility to lead the fight on crime. In this capacity he managed a budget of £3.5 billion and 53,000 employees.
Prior to entering politics, Kit was a businessman involved in a number of start ups including the County Finance Group of which he remains Chairman.
He succeeded Sir George Young as our neighbouring MP where he has a majority of nearly 24,000.
He is someone who has proved himself in demanding roles and has a great future in politics.
