Hungerford are holding their annual summer party on Sunday 9th September at 12 Noon featuring the popular jazz band 'The Dodgy jammers'. Everyone is welcome. In the 2010 General Election Manifesto the Conservative Party pledged to make “the police accountable to a directly-elected individual who will set policing priorities for local communities”. This pledge will be fulfilled on Thursday 15th November when the country goes to the polls to elect the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) for their area.
