Laura enjoyed another morning meeting constituents in and around the Newbury. This time she was at The Bowlers Arms, Wash Common, Newbury having a formai surgery in the boardroom and then having an informal chat with locals in the bar. Huge thanks go to Richard and John and the team for looking after Laura so well. Later, Laura met with the some of the volunteers and friends of the Wash Common library who are celebrating 5 years since they set up the charity. The Friends are a dedicated group of volunteers who manage the day to day running and organisation of the library. They also raise funds to ensure this community resource remains open.
