This Saturday, Richard Benyon will be joining intrepid teenager, Andy Kedar, at Adventure Dolphin, Pangbourne, on one of his last training sessions before his 130 mile canoeing challenge along the River Thames.
The sixteen year old, who has autism, will start his official journey on 12 April at Cricklade and is due to finish in Teddington, on 19 April.
Richard said, “I am looking forward to seeing Andy in action and to pass on my best wishes. Autism is a lifelong condition, which affects more than 1 in 100 people in the UK. All of Andy’s fundraising will enable people living with autism to cope with day-to-day challenges and will serve as inspiration to others to achieve their full potential.”
To date, Andy has raised over £1,000 for the National Autistic Society and you can sponsor Andy through his website, http://www.justgiving.com/AndyKedar.
