Sir Nicholas Soames will be joining us on the 25 October to speak about his Grandfather Sir Winston Churchill.
Sir Nicholas Soames has been a Member of Parliament for 35 years. After junior Ministerial positions, Sir Nicholas served as Minister of State for the Armed Forces in the Major government, from 2003—2005 he served as Shadow Defence Secretary in the Howard Shadow Cabinet. Sir Nicholas is a very hardworking backbencher and is an accomplished campaigner.
