It's always good to be out campaigning with Paul Dick. When you've been a prominent headteacher in the area for more than thirty years, as well as a football referee and charity volunteer, you know a LOT of people - and a lot who are keen to talk, which is just how Paul likes it.
We think the way Paul operates is exactly how local politics should work - knowing residents, listening to what matters to them, and then designing and delivering exceptional value-for-money services that meet their needs.
Paul 's been doing that in the schools around here for most of his adult life and now this hardworking man is ready to bring his skills and experience to West Berkshire Council. As he says himself, 'I want to make a lasting contribution to the community in which I've lived since 1989'. Of course, he's ALREADY made a lasting contribution - ask anyone who has attended or sent their children to one of the schools he's led - but as an elected councillor he will do even more. Just watch!
